Unibar to Launch EyeVedic Platform and Host Eye-Lympic Games
The new platform integrates CapsiClear, SeeXanth, SeeBuck, and UniGold to address dry eye, macular health, and overall ocular wellness.

Unibar is launching its EyeVedic ingredient platform to highlight its time-tested botanicals validated for eye health benefits.
The line includes:
- CapsiClear, a clinically-studied capsanthin extract for dry eye and intraocular pressure
- SeeXanth, a mesozeaxanthin, lutein, and zeaxanthin blend to support macular health and visual performance
- SeeBuck, a sea buckthorn extract which promotes healthy tear film and moisture balance
- UniGold lutein to protect against blue light exposure and oxidative stress

EyeVedic’s platform of ingredients supports farmers with high-quality seeds, training in sustainable practices, and fair and stable income, the company noted. Measures include integrated pest management to reduce harmful pesticide use, enhancing soil health and product safety. They also minimize reliance on fresh water and fossil fuels through precision farming techniques which reduce water use by 40-60%, and by implementing hybrid furnace technology to convert agricultural waste into biofuels, reducing carbon footprint.
To celebrate the launch of EyeVedic, Unibar is hosting its Eye-Lympic Games to promote its flagship ingredient, CapsiClear, and its support for dry eye, on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Competitors can blink as many times as they can, competing for a grand prize of $1,000. Additionally, the first 25 visitors to Unibar’s booth on Oct. 30 will receive a Starbucks gift card.
Unibar will partner with Marketwell Nutrition Inc., led by CEO Douglas Lynch, to drive awareness, B2B and B2C education, sales, and marketing efforts.
